The Opuntia "Road Kill" cactus thrives in full sun, requiring at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily. It's highly drought-tolerant and should be watered sparingly—only when the soil is completely dry. This cactus prefers well-draining soil, such as a cactus or succulent mix, to prevent root rot. It's hardy and can tolerate a range of temperatures but should be protected from prolonged frost. Occasional feeding with a balanced cactus fertilizer during the growing season will help maintain its health.
